1. Introduction our Story

Today is quite an important Day. National Grief Awareness. Funnily enough, my sister and I became aware that it was today through someone in the welcoming Grief community we have become part of Tyler Quillet brought this to our attention through a personal message and post they had published. They asked if we could help them in spreading the word.

We were incredibly pleased this was brought to our attention. Knowing this, the only natural thing for us to do was incorporate the day into a topic.

Our blog was created because of my sister and I sad and unfortunate bereavement. Since this time our aim has been to try our very best to help and spread awareness on matters of grief and other matters that might not necessarily be spoken about enough or get enough attention.

Out topic for the coming week (Monday 31st August 2020) is: September Awareness Month 2020 which will cover many medical conditions. But in a sense grief Awareness brings it all back home. This is our situation. We created this blog due to our grief and bereavement. The loss of our Dad. This is also many people’s situation. Grieving for a loved one also deserves its rightful recognition.

Today (Saturday 29th August 2020) My sister and I have learnt of two people who have sadly lost their life: Chadwick Boseman May he R.I.E.P. our thoughts and condolences go out to his family. He made such a positive and inspiring contribution to the film industry and the black community. The following links give further information regarding this star:

I also today (Saturday 29th August 2020) received news of an ex work colleague who has sadly passed away. May they R.I.E.P. our thoughts and condolences go out to their famliy.

The news of Chadwick Boseman really upset both of us quite deeply.

The news of my ex work colleague really hit home as over the years of working with this person, I got to know this person and really liked this person. It made me feel really sad, stopped me in my tracks, made it hard to focus or continue what I was doing. These things brings it back home that life is truly so short.

4. Our Final Thoughts and YouTube video

Life is precious, life is short. Life is a gift. As we have often said in previous topics, although easier said than done we should try our best to live our best life. Loving ourselves and the people close to our hearts.

We hope this topic might be of use to someone and we wish anyone reading it a blessed day, evening and remainder of the weekend.
