THIS IS A LATE POSTING BUT BECAUSE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF SIGHT WE STILL PUBLISHED IT.
All of our senses are important. They all play their individual vital role in our body and how it can function.
Today (Thursday 14th October) is World Sight Day.
My sister and I feel it is only right that we did a topic on this. We have not been directly affected by a form of sight loss. But within our family due to situations, medical conditions, sight loss is present.
Our Dad was hospitalised in September 2021, sadly passing away in March 2017. He was diagnosed with Infective Endocarditis. Unfortunately, the bacteria went into our dad’s eyes causing him to lose his sight (We have a topic on Infective Endocarditis and Infective Endocarditis and Blindness).
For these reasons is why we decided to do this as an individual topic.
