Today marks 29 years since the sad and fateful day that Stephen Lawrence was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This unfortunately led to him losing his life in such a senseless manner.
We truly admire Baroness Doreen Lawrence and Dr Neville Lawrence for everything they have done in their son’s honour and the changes that have been made because of their courageous and commendable mission for their son and justice for all.
We covered this as a topic for the first time last year, as we feel it is very important to try and help to spread awareness of this, and to share the positive things that have come out of such a horrible and devastating tragedy.
We feel so passionately about rights, justice and voices being heard, this is why we did not hesitate to cover this as a topic again this year.
