Blue Butterfly Sighting Meaning: Butterflies and Grief

This is another of those topics that were completely unplanned.

My sister, nephew’s and I were outside setting up to do a blog introduction video. My sister noticed white butterflies going past, but then she saw a blue one. We all saw it, it kept flying away and returning. I’ve never seen a blue butterfly of this kind before….

1. Introduction

This is another of those topics that were completely unplanned.

My sister, nephew’s and I were outside setting up to do a blog introduction video. My sister noticed white butterflies going past, but then she saw a blue one. We all saw it, it kept flying away and returning. I’ve never seen a blue butterfly of this kind before.

When this happened, we made a comment that it could be Dad encouraging us for the video. It just so happens the topic was Five Years of Grief.

Once we’d done the video, we didn’t think much of it. But then in conversation later I asked my sister if she’d ever seen a blue butterfly like that before. I then became curious to see if it had any meaning or significance.

As suspected, it did have a meaning, and this is how this topic has come about.
