1. Introduction
Worldwide we have been through so much over the past few years. The Pandemic and everything that it brought with it is something that we have never seen, experienced or lived through. To say it was surreal is a complete understatement.
There have been many losses of lives, family homes, businesses, and loss of your own identity. So many changes have to be made, mentally and physically it is a lot to bare and deal with.
Never before have our lives been adjusted so abruptly. Health in all aspects of our lives is so important, without our health and Mental well-being what do we really have?
One of the reasons we speak about matters such as mental health is because these are things we experienced along the journey when our Dad was hospitalised in September 2016. Due to his original Diagnosis of Infective Endocarditis (which is a serious life-threatening heart condition), we have topics on:
Our Dad, unfortunately, suffered from many other conditions, one of which was Delirium. We have topics on:
We never knew much about this at all until our Dad was going through it, and even then we had little or no support from the hospital which meant we had to research and learn about it ourselves. Because of these reasons we continue to try our best to share information on matters of mental health and well-being. For these reasons, we are doing this topic today.
