June 2020

WE ARE 12 MONTHS OLD! WOW! We have made it to one whole year!

This is truly an amazing and honourable achievement and Milestone.

This time last year once we officially published the blog, we did it with an unknown mind! This is something:

  • We have never done before
  • We did not foresee
  • That was not planned
  • That we felt just needed to be done

We almost did not launch as having the idea and making it become reality was not as easy as first thought. In my previous job I managed a WordPress website having both front and back end experience, because of this, WordPress was to the chosen host site. I thought I am familiar with it so it shouldn’t be as difficult as something I had never used before.

We all know that managing something that has already been set up, in comparison to setting up something yourself is extremely different, then add to that an update meaning you are not familiar in the way you first thought. This is what happened to me. Thankfully with a WordPress tutorial course, I managed to master the back-end side of things, and in April 2019 Grief Probate Journey was created. Through the WordPress course we posted a few topics as early as May 2019. But the official launch was June 2019, with our topic: What’s Next and thankfully we have not looked back since.

Since our last update of Grief Probate Journey is NINE Months old we were:

We have been viewed in more new countries such as:

  • Albania
  • Russia
  • Ethiopia
  • Austria
  • Kenya
  • Palestinian Territories
  • Russia
  • China
  • Belarus
  • Indonesia
  • Morocco
  • Kuwait
  • Qatar
  • Egypt
  • Myanmar (Burma)
  • Isle of Man
  • Guyana (Our Mum’s Hometown)
  • Chile
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Serbia
  • Finland
  • Slovakia
  • Cayman Islands
  • Botswana
  • Ukraine
  • Hong Kong SAR China
  • Sudan
  • Iraq
  • Croatia
  • Lithuania
  • Puerto Rico

We have also noted that Time: Angel Numbers: Number 7: Biblical Meaning Number 7 is our most popular topic, viewed almost every single day.

That is a further thirty-one countries in three months and 88 countries in total in the 12 months since we went live with the blog. This is absolutely amazing. It is hard to put into words the joy and amazement we feel each time there is a new country, we truly feel honoured and grateful, and overjoyed to know our story is reaching worldwide in this way, it is way more than we could ask for in our mission, purpose, and goal.

We had the honour of:

Taking part in a live Instagram interview with The Color of Grief: Interview with the Color of Grief: Who we are, Our Journey, and how we got into the world of blogging – Tuesday 14th April 2020. (Contact details: Instagram)

We were extremely nervous about this as it’s something we have never done before. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to do this, it was a great experience. Because of doing this interview, and wanting to be able to share it with people who might not have Instagram, or might have missed the live feed, we created another unexpected achievement which was:

Launching our YouTube channel which we are extremely pleased about. The main reason was to upload the videos from the live interview, but now we use it as a way of giving brief vocal explanations of our blog topics. This is still very new, and through time we hope this will follow its own successful path and journey as our Blog is thankfully doing.

2. Mental Health Awareness Week 18th – 24th May 2020 – Guest Feature: Chantelle Newell: Counsellor and Mediator Contact details: Home|C.C.N Counselling & Mediation

3. World Wellbeing Week June 2020: Guest Feature: W.E.L.L.B.eing Contact details: All Socials: @WellbeingSE15: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook

That’s also a total of six Guest Features since we piloted this idea in January 2020.

  • Our followers continue to increase we now have 740 total followers. Words cannot express how this makes us feel.

Most recently we had the honour of taking part in a project for Father’s Day 21st June 2020. The purpose of the project was to share and show our support for people who have lost their Dad. This wonderful opportunity was presented to us by Randi Pearlman Wolfson at griefandgrits. Please see the project below:

We have been mentioned in the following Instagram stories:

Our Tweets have been retweeted on Twitter by:

Mental Wellness Club

which has been an absolute joy to see. When we see the lovely nice words of encouragement, support and recognition of what we are doing, we feel honoured. It is truly humbling and rewarding reading such things. It warms our hearts, and we are always thankful, grateful and appreciative. These things also really help to uplift us and our spirits, which is always welcomed. It is always highly appreciated but it’s even more so when these things happen on our low days. Please see a few examples of the story mentions:

We say this almost all the time, but we do still often doubt do we have a purpose, should we be continuing, are we staying true to our cause. But when we see the likes, follows, shares, recommendations, and mentions it gives us our welcomed and needed answers.

We feel fortunate and blessed that we were able to make our idea become something. We also feel fortunate thankful and blessed that we’ve been able to publish posts each week for a year, that in itself is our biggest achievement since launching the blog this time last year.

This topic was ready to be published at the beginning of this month, however, because of other matters occurring around the world, and matters we felt needed awareness at that time, we made the decision to postpone publishing it. The time now feels right, and this is why we are publishing it this week.

We hope to continue growing, spreading our awareness, and continuing to connect and integrate within our social media communities.

As always, we are forever thankful, grateful, appreciate and feel blessed for everyone who has, and continues to support us along our journey. Together is what has made it possible for us to make it this far. We look forward with hope and positivity for the future.

Thank you

The Greene Family
